Coconut, Carrot, Lavender and Raspberry Seed Oils have a natural spf value, and depending on the source, they can value around 30 spf when using these oils alone! They are also nourishing for the skin, so no damage is being brought on by chemical protectants found in conventional sunscreens.
Non-nano zinc oxide is found in most natural sunscreens, but can turn the skin bright white when applying. We do add some of this as an added layer of protection, but since we aren't using it as the main source of sun protection, it doesn't turn the skin white after rubbing in.
Vitamin D applied to the skin can also be a sun protector, as we need Vitamin D to synthesize nutrients from the sun, and the sun helps us synthesize Vitamin D. Its a large cycle, but one that is greatly needed in the body. We put the usable form of Vitamin D (D3).

Organic Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil, olive oil (Olea europaea), butyrospermum parkki (shea butter), zinc oxide (non-nano), red raspberry seed (Rubus idaeus), carrot seed (Daucus carota subsp. sativus), Vitamin D (cholecalciferol), beeswax (cera alba), Carob (Ceratonia siliqua), lavender (lavendula).
